About
"The Italian Stallion" Johnny Palazzio is an AWA veteran and South African wrestling legend. He has had a storied career in the AWA, being crowned the first ever AWA Cruiserweight Champion on "AWF on E" and having won that championship and the AWA All Africa Heavyweight Championship numerous times since by defeating well known South African stars like Mr Money, "Mad" Jack-Maverick, "The Lion of Africa" Shaun Koen and the Missing Link. In 2007, Johnny was also ranked in the top 500 best professional wrestlers in the world by publication Pro Wrestling Illustrated (PWI). He currently serves as one of the trainers at the AWA School of Hard Knocks, where he is teaches the next generation of wrestlers to be the best in South Africa.
